Workshops and leisure

Workshops meet once a week for approx. 2 hours. The course fee covers participation in up to four workshops of your choice. Some workshops require prior sign-up and the number of participants is limited.

• Canoeing
  Each participant has the chance to learn to canoe and explore the surroundings of Fulda on the water of the eponymous river (limited number of participants). A canoeing day trip is also available.
  
• Dance: Hip Hop meets Latin
  Pulsating Hip Hop beats, mixed with Latin American Rhythms. Together we will be creating an expressive and explosive Hip Hop choreography, becoming something unique through the influences of Latin American dances, such as Tango or Salsa. Phil and Dini Lohsse, dance teachers from the Fulda dancing school STEPSnSTYLES, will be teaching this course together.
  Beginner or advanced dancer – the fun factor is guaranteed!
  
• German Culture
  Get to know the German culture! We offer speeches and discussions with Germans who share their memories of contemporary German history
  
• Cooking
  Beyond Schnitzel - the German experience! We will find out how the Germans eat, prepare German dishes and taste them. (limited number of participants).
  
• Theater
  Are you a budding actress/actor/singer/dancer? Come and join the "ISU Fulda players" as we explore drama and musical and create our own play!
  
• Soccer
  Would you like to try the most popular sport in Germany? The German national team is to be reckoned with in any international tournament, but millions of Germans also get off the sofa each week to play. So, when in Germany, do as the Germans do! We'll practice for the ISU cup. Newbies and semi-professionals are equally welcome.
